That book sold over 10 million copies and has been the object of intense scrutiny and skepticism ever since. Micky Sexton, the author of Amityville: My Sister’s Keeper (a memoir) is Kathy Lutz’s sister and the former sister-in-law of George Lee Lutz. Micky often babysat for Kathy’s three children from a previous marriage, Christopher, Daniel, and Melissa.
In her spellbinding memoir, Amityville: My Sister’s Keeper: A Story of Death, Deception and the Occult, Sexton says she believes the Amityville house story was a hoax, knowingly perpetrated by George Lutz. Over the years, Micky witness great paranormal activity—all orchestrated by her brother-in-law, George Lee Lutz.
